No. 3

Baby #3 is due in April. Here's the 12 week ultrasound photos:

Baby's head is on the right, knees are up by tummy with feet in the air... in case it isn't obvious. I'd never had an ultrasound taken before 20 weeks, so I wasn't expecting to see much on this one. Despite being only 7 mm long, we could see facial features, detail of the spine, feet, hands, legs, bladder, stomach, and both hemispheres of the brain. It was absolutely amazing.

Here baby's knees and feet are pulled in, head's still on the right. :) This one is a little more blurry, but they turned out pretty well considering these are pictures I took of the glossy picture the ultrasound machine printed out. Who needs a scanner?

Congratulations Laura and Ryan! That ultrasound is amazing! I can't believe the details. That is so fun. #3 was quite the big deal at our house. I'm still getting adjusted.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! What fun news! I love the ultrasound pictures. Aren't those fun? And you get another one later on too I'm assuming...I can tell you the transition to 3 wasn't as hard as from 1 to 2. Your girls will be such good little mommies!! I hope you're feeling well!

Congratulations! I had no idea about your wonderful news. That must explain your radiance! The book you're reading..."Happiest Baby on the Block"...was a lifesaver for me. I read the whole thing the day after that one Sunday you probably remember so well when I was trying, with your help, to get Seth to calm down during church. After reading that book, I became an expert swaddler and shoosh-er, much to Seth's delight. :-) So happy for you all!

Congratulations! What a surprise! It's amazing how much you can see in the ultrasound! Will you find out if it's a boy or a girl?

Congratulations! Do you always get ultrasounds at 12 weeks, or is this something your doc recommended? Hope all is well with baby and mom! Let us know in 8 weeks what you're having!!! (That is, if you're finding out for yourselves!) :)

Don't worry, I had this ultrasound at 12 weeks as part of a new test called the Combined Screen. The past two pregnancies I had a Quad Screen, but this is the newer and reportedly better test. So "they" say anyway.

We will find out what we're having in December at the 20 week ultrasound.

Wish lists:
Ryan - boy, of course,
Emma - usually wants a brother, today wants a sister,
Hannah - usually wants a brother,
Me - I have BOXES of girl clothes, blankets, shoes, toys, etc. Where would I PUT the boy stuff?
